Dayfree
Miss a day, keep the goal
Set a goal by how many times a week, not which days. Miss a day, keep going.

Dayfree is a habit tracker for weeks that never look the same. Pick "3 times a week" and any three days count - Monday, Tuesday and Sunday, or three days in a row. Nothing resets because you skipped Wednesday.
How it works
- 1Add a habit from one of twelve presets or write your own - no sign-up, no account, no onboarding quiz.
- 2Choose how many times per week or per month. There are no weekdays to pick.
- 3Tap once on the home screen to check a habit off. The weekly ring fills and the count of what is left updates on the spot.
- 4Long-press a day to mark it partly done or missed, and add a one-line note saying why.
- 5Forgot a day? Open the History calendar, pick the day and record it.
Why Dayfree
- Any day counts toward the goal, so skipping Wednesday never resets your week.
- Partly still counts as a record - the day you tried does not look like the day you forgot.
- Every stat is open to everyone. There is no subscription, and nothing on the Stats screen is locked.
- Everything stays on your device: no account, no cloud, and a CSV export you can restore from on a new phone.
- Small habits can share one row - put six supplements in a group and check them all off from its header.
What's inside
- Weekly or monthly goals by count, with what is left this week on the home screen
- Done, partly and missed marks, each with an optional one-line note
- Categories with their own colour and weekly goal, collapsible, with check-all from the header
- A History calendar that folds between month and week, with notes shown as text
- A monthly grid for each habit that tells done, partly and missed apart by shape as well as colour
- Stats with completion against the previous period, goals met by week, a 12-week trend, a weekday pattern and insights in plain sentences
- A reminder time for each habit, with one switch to turn every reminder off
- Twelve presets with suggested counts, a dark default theme and a light theme
- CSV export of every record and note, and restore from that file on a new phone
Pick a number, not a schedule - and let any day of the week count.
Frequently asked questions
Does Dayfree cost anything?
Dayfree is free. It is supported by a small banner, a full-screen ad when you open the app (at most twice a day) and a few in-line cards between the Stats blocks. On iOS, one purchase removes every ad permanently. There is no subscription, and no stat or feature is locked.
Who is it for?
Anyone whose weeks do not look the same - people who want to work out three times a week or read ten times a month without being tied to fixed weekdays, and without a streak that breaks the day they skip.
What happens to my data?
Everything stays on your device. There is no account and no cloud sync. You can export every record and note to CSV at any time and restore from that file on a new phone.
How long does it take to log a habit?
One tap on the home screen checks a habit off. Marking a day as partly done or missed, with an optional note, is a long-press and a few seconds.
Which platforms is it on?
Dayfree is available on Android and iOS, in ten languages: English, Korean, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
